Born in 1941. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, Hamburg and the Academy of Fine arts in Kassel. Since 1975 has worked in her own studio in Wippershain, Germany. From 1980-1992 designer for Rosenthal/Selb.

Numerous exhibitions in Germany, Europe and worldwide.

Member of the IAC since 1979 and council member since 2002.
Member of Gruppe 83, German Ceramists.

Work in numerous museums, public and private collections.
