The Clayarch Gimhae Museum was founded on March 24, 2006. It was the very first Museum in the world that specializes in Architectural Ceramics. It was built in Gimhae because of the long standing Ceramic history in the area.
Architectural Ceramics is a recent genre in the ceramics field that is becoming popular worldwide. By harmonizing Ceramics and Architecture Artists are able to reflect the pluralism of these contemporary times using innovation to overcome limitations to create architectural sculpture and art.
