Born in Mexico City in 1950.

Working with clay since 1971, concentrated basically on the creative possibilities found through throwing on the wheel. Several well differentiated working periods along the years: "Open form", "Drawing on clay", "Cuts", "Folded forms" and in the last years "Compression".

In every case this has meant a research of the endless possibilities of working with thrown clay forms. Quite recently, after the most extreme of the compressed forms, a new period of opening seems to come.

Frequent exhibitions at many galleries in the world, as well as many pieces in museums.

Working half of the year in Xalapa, Mexico, And the rest of the year, together with Brigitte Pénicaud at their atelier in France. Also as an artist in residence at the Manufacture de Sèvres in Paris.
