Born in Vigo, Spain in1956.
He gradueted in Applied Arts in (Mestre Mateo School, Santiago de Compostela, Spain).
He was awarded a grant by  the Xunta de Galicia to boarden his studies in Girona (Spain) and Faenza (Italy) between 1984 and1986. He also received a grant fron the Nederlands Government in1993 to work at the European Ceramic Work Centre in s’Hertogenbosch (Netherlands ).

In 1994 He worked at the Artigas Foundation of Barcelona, thanks to a grant from Miró Foundation (Palma de Mallorca). In 1993, he won the Current Ceramics First National Award (Talavera de la Reina), and was a finalist at the 5º Festival du film sur L’argila et le Verre in Montpellier (France) in 2006.

He carred out both individual and group exhibitions in different Spanish cities and cities abroad. In 1999, he was appointed member of the Ceramics International Academy (Switzerland).

Since 1986 he has been a teacher at the Municipal School of Arts and Crafts, Vigo ( Spain ).
