“In the 21st Century everyone can be labeled for commercial sale, except for keepers of free minds and free souls.” presented by Shao Ting Ju, there is one red clay figure with a setting bird on the shoulder in front of a group of white ones, looking up at the sky in his own manner. The group of white clay figures made out of the same mould with the golden crown , the commercial code on the chest, is walking forward with their heads upright, sharing the same movement and the same expression. Shao uses the mould concept to symbolize people losing their individual character just like robots product by moulds in standardized processes. The crown and code symbolize capitalism ,carpe diem the over- consumption to debauch people while blindly pursuing materialistic power .Therefore under the core value of Benthamism in present day, people have lost touch with nature and given up their soul. The one figure keep a free mind ; independent ,keen thought is critical in the present day.
