Bingul Basarir began working on ceramics in Istanbul, in 1960. Since 1962, she has been
participating in various national and international exhibitions as well as private shows.
Her ceramic wall panels appear in several public and private buildings among which there is the Presidential Residence of the Turkish Republic and the İnternational Airport, İzmir, Turkey. Since 1990, She has been working with glass as well as ceramics.
