The interpreted functional vessel brings conversations through art and touch into daily life. The alchemy that transforms common terra cotta clay into a vocal object points the way toward parallel transformations possible in the observed moments of one’s own life.

The indulgence of flowers, the rewards of fruit, the lure of their colors, and the ephemeral quality of all plant life are subtexts in my pottery that point toward values in human life: joy, struggle, reward, the passing of seasons and the pleasures of each one.
