Mr. Zhou is a ceramic artist, writer, and the director of Chinese Ceramic Art Council, USA. He has invented many clay tools, received two patents, and founded the Chinese Clay Art Corporation in 2001, which is located in San Jose, California.

Mr. Zhou received his MA from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and his MFA from San Jose State University. Zhou has published over fifty articles in both Chinese and English in art magazines, and two books titled American Ceramic Artists Today and Chinese Ceramic Cultural Sites-A Traveler’s Handbook. He has also presented many lectures in schools and conferences in both China and the US since 1996.

Since 1999, Mr. Zhou has made many exchanges between China and the US, curated many exhibitions, and organized and participated in many International Ceramic Conferences in Yixing, Jingdezhen and Foshan. He was also the juror of the International Teapot Competition in Saddleback College, Southern California three times.
