During the evening a documentary film will be screened, preceding which we invite you to attend the vernissage of the first edition of the\u00a0\u00ab Treasure Bowl Collection \u00bb<\/a>\u00a0which will take place on the 1st Floor of the Ariana Museum from 6:15pm to 7pm.<\/p>\n

The documentary film<\/span><\/p>\n

In affiliation with the Chinese Ceramic Art Project, the Chinese filmmaker and ceramic artist Hongyu Tan will present her documentary \u201cGold Bricks\u201d<\/a>,\u00a0in the presence of French ceramic artist Jacques Kaufmann, whose exhibition \u201cMUR\/murs\u201d<\/a> includes four Lumu gold bricks.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The documentary and the thoughts expressed by the two speakers on the processes employed for making these unconventional materials will be followed by a discussion.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Every two years, the International Academy of Ceramics organizes lectures at the Ariana Museum in Geneva. These offer an overview of ceramics along two trajectories: the meeting of regional ceramics and the functioning of institutional structures, such as museums, centers and schools specialized in the field.<\/span><\/p>\n

En lien avec le Chinese Ceramic Art Project, la r\u00e9alisatrice et c\u00e9ramiste chinoise Hongyu Tan pr\u00e9sentera son documentaire \"Gold Bricks\"<\/a>, en pr\u00e9sence du c\u00e9ramiste fran\u00e7ais Jacques Kaufmann, dont l'exposition \"MUR \/ murs\"<\/a> int\u00e8gre quatre briques d'or de Lumu.<\/p>\r\n

Le documentaire\u00a0et la\u00a0r\u00e9flexion port\u00e9e par les deux intervenants sur les processus mis en \u0153uvre pour la fabrication de ces mat\u00e9riaux\u00a0hors normes,\u00a0seront suivis d\u2019une discussion.<\/p>\r\n

L'Acad\u00e9mie Internationale de la C\u00e9ramique organise tous les deux ans \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve au Mus\u00e9e Ariana des conf\u00e9rences qui offrent un \u00e9tat des lieux de la c\u00e9ramique \u00e0 partir de deux trajectoires : la rencontre de cultures c\u00e9ramiques r\u00e9gionales et le fonctionnement de structures institutionnelles, telles que les mus\u00e9es, les centres et les \u00e9coles sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s dans le domaine.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
