The IAC International Members Exhibition (2026) was held as part of the 52nd Congress in Jingdezhen, China, and reflected the Congress general theme “Inheritance and Innovation”.<\/span><\/p>\n

To honour the artworks of IAC members, the exhibition jury awarded 3 prizes during a ceremony that took place at the Taoxichuan Art Museum, on Sunday 28 June 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Keka Ruiz-Tagle has been a member of the IAC since 2017.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“<\/span>My artistic purpose is to recover and delve into the spiritual heritage and ancestral wisdom of the Indigenous peoples of the Andean Americas\u2014a time when humanity lived in deep harmony with the universe and the rhythms of the Earth.
Through the interpretation of traditional rituals and cosmogonies, I seek to convey their values and memories, allowing future generations to preserve within their souls the sacred imagination that once illuminated the Andes.”<\/p>\n

This prize was awarded to Xavier Monsalvatje (Spain) for his piece titled Worker Class B, 2024<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Xavier Monsalvatje has been a member of the IAC since 2013.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In almost all his projects, he has always wanted to use traditional ceramic techniques and adapt them to narrate contemporary events, as in ancient ceramics, which describe the specific period in which they were made. In this way, a connection is created between the past of the technical process and the chronicle of the contemporary moment, uniting tradition and modernity.This piece highlights the automation of the human being, the human body as a machine, the worker as a semiotic artifact.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

“This project reflects my ongoing interest in how ceramics can hold emotional memory and human presence \u2014 how material form can become a vessel for invisible relationships, gestures, and care. ‘Stay Where I Can See You’ explores the relationship between form and presence – between what is visible and what exists beyond material shape. In this work, I reflect on how the physicality of clay can carry emotional, even spiritual, connecting the tangible with the invisible.”<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

L'exposition internationale des membres de l'AIC (2026) s'est tenue dans le cadre du 52e Congr\u00e8s \u00e0 Jingdezhen, en Chine, et refl\u00e9tait le th\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Congr\u00e8s : \u00ab H\u00e9ritage et innovation \u00bb.<\/p>\r\n

Afin de mettre \u00e0 l'honneur les \u0153uvres des membres de l'AIC, le jury de l'exposition a d\u00e9cern\u00e9 trois prix lors d'une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie organis\u00e9e au mus\u00e9e d'art de Taoxichuan, le dimanche 28 juin 2026.<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n

Dans la quasi-totalit\u00e9 de ses projets, il a toujours cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 employer des techniques c\u00e9ramiques traditionnelles pour raconter des \u00e9v\u00e9nements contemporains, \u00e0 l'instar des c\u00e9ramiques anciennes qui t\u00e9moignent de l'\u00e9poque de leur cr\u00e9ation. Ainsi s'\u00e9tablit un lien entre le pass\u00e9 du proc\u00e9d\u00e9 technique et la chronique du pr\u00e9sent, unissant tradition et modernit\u00e9. Cette \u0153uvre met en lumi\u00e8re l'automatisation de l'\u00eatre humain, le corps humain envisag\u00e9 comme une machine et le travailleur en tant qu'artefact s\u00e9miotique.<\/p>\r\n

\u00ab Ce projet refl\u00e8te l'int\u00e9r\u00eat constant que je porte \u00e0 la capacit\u00e9 de la c\u00e9ramique \u00e0 incarner la m\u00e9moire \u00e9motionnelle et la pr\u00e9sence humaine \u2014 \u00e0 la fa\u00e7on dont la forme mat\u00e9rielle peut devenir le r\u00e9ceptacle de liens, de gestes et de marques d'attention invisibles. *Stay Where I Can See You* explore la relation entre forme et pr\u00e9sence, entre ce qui est visible et ce qui existe au-del\u00e0 de l'apparence mat\u00e9rielle.
