The Council is made up of 15 to 18 members, including the UNESCO representative. Members of the Council are elected for a term of six years. They are appointed from among individual members of the Academy.<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n

The Council decides on the function of its members in accordance with its needs. The composition of the Council corresponds, as far as possible, to the various geographical regions represented by the Academy.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
