Jilin College of Arts




Jilin College Of Arts is the only comprehensive higher art college in northeast China. The school was founded in 1946, the ceramic art studio of the School of Design was established in 2003, and the “Modern Craft International Workstation” was established in 2007, and the annual “Changchun International Ceramic Art Exchange Meeting” was organized and undertook, which attracted great attention from the domestic and foreign industries. The workstation has organized and planned the international ceramic art exchange activities from 2007 to 2012. In 2012, the International Ceramic Art Exchange Conference won the annual “Top 10 Outstanding Characteristic Exhibition in China” award. In 2015, in view of the outstanding contributions made by Jilin College of Arts in the field of ceramics, The International Ceramic Society (IAC) of UNESCO has been invited to become a member of the domestic group. From 2013 to 2019, it has held many activities such as “National Art Fund Project”, International Ceramic Art Interactive Exchange Workshop and International Glass Art Workshop Exchange Week. The workstation is composed of ceramic art studio, glass studio and metal studio. The workstation is the most important place for academic exchange of ceramic art, glass art and metal art in northeast China. It is also an international workstation with world level comprehensive creation.
