Jason Lim’s work is guided by the elements of nature. Drawing inspiration from these elements, he proposes to unveil the complex inter-relationships between nature and the world around us. He employs long meditative processes of repeated actions as a strategy to manifest works in the form of sculpture, photography, film, and performance art.

He has presented his works at the 52nd Venice Biennale, Italy (2007); the 4th World Ceramics Biennale, WOCEF, South Korea (2007); Taiwan Ceramics Biennale, Taiwan (2008); 1st Jakarta Ceramics Biennale, Indonesia (2009); JIWA: Jakarta Biennale, Indonesia (2017); Indian Ocean Craft Triennale, Australia (2021).
