The simplification of the form to the essence, the simple morphology of the minimalistic sculptures and their monumentality have always preoccupied me, becoming the basic idea of my works.
The cleanly essentialized forms, their purification and geometrization are integrated in the stylistic option of minimalism that does not involve only abstract-geometric representations, extending outside them.
Monumentality, I apply this special energy of form to all my works equally, regardless of the metrical dimension, giving them a spatial purpose to determine.
The technique that goes through the times, since the Neolithic, is essential for me, given that the foundation facilitates the rising of the artwork step by step, through the malleability and docility of the material (sandstone, grog or clay), being constantly ready to receive the energy of the gesture, suffering multiple rigorously controlled processing.
In a world with complicated things, in which the artistic object must be as shocking as possible, I return to the simple shape, to the clean and preciously refined surface. The stake of my creation is to restore confidence, peace and normality in a world constantly assailed by accidents of the small and large history.
