A life weighed down by worry, conflict, and despair narrows one’s perspective, traps the self, and causes us to lose sight of what truly matters.
This condition is interpreted as a form of “psychological visual loss,” symbolized by the headless figure, which embodies the depression and emptiness pervasive in contemporary society.
Through realistic detail and life-sized scale, the work aims to render these social conditions more tangible and immediate.
And yet, despite the hardship, I believe that love and hope can still be found within it.
