Mitsuo Shoji is a Japanese born ceramist who trained in Kyoto City University of Fine Arts, Japan, who lives and works in Sydney. His artworks are renowned nationally and internationally.

He taught Ceramics at Sydney College of the Arts, Sydney University, for 29 years. He retired in 2007 and is now Honorary Associate Professor.

His work ranges from functional ceramics to sculptures.
