I am captivated by the narratives that objects can tell, drawing inspiration from legends, myths, fairy tales, and contemporary societal themes. My work exists between ‘High’- and ‘Low ‘-culture, between Kitsch, Camp, and Art, and between modernity and nostalgia. I am intrigued by the dynamic contrasts of ‘beauty/attraction’ and ‘ugly/repulsive’. The unexpected guides my artistic process as I repurpose esoteric odds and ends into new and surprising artworks.
