Julia Hsin-Yi Yang has received her PhD in visual arts (ceramics) from the Australian National University since 2018. Her practice is based on exploring the essence of play and process in ceramics, where she creates objects and installations that can attract and invite her viewers to play. Yang believes that through the act of play we can re-discover the joy of being a child and expand our imaginations.
