The Escuela Nacional de Ceràmica is a nonprofit institution that aims to be a space for the conservation, creation, innovation, research and teaching of ceramics in a country with 4,400 years of pottery tradition and with few formal educational options for this ancestral trade.

To rescue the rich tradition of Mexican ceramists, acknowledge the artistic value of their work and take them to the future through the training and consolidation of new generations of professionals, and in this way, project México as an important producer of quality ceramics at an international level.

The ENC wants to make and mark a great difference in professionalizing the work of potters, to reaffirm and rescue the practice of ceramic techniques, as well as the creation of
new processes that enrich and revalue them as one of the most important and rich cultural expressions of our country with historical, social, economic and academic foundations.
